Joy in Cancer? April 15, 2013

Many have asked how we can have such joy and peace in the midst of battling cancer. James 1:2-4 says, “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

It is only by God’s grace that we can have this inexplicable joy and peace that passes all understanding while facing cancer or any trial in life. My husband explained it SO well (by the guidance of the Holy Spirit) in his sermon on Sunday on this passage in James! Please, please take the time to go and listen: http://www.benningtonbaptist.com. You will be so blessed and encouraged to begin your next trial with joy and God will be faithful to bring you through with joy, build your endurance, and make you complete, lacking nothing!
